To hold your spot for the coming year, return the registration form, $150 registration fee for new families, or $100 for families returning with a younger sibling, and your signature page of the parent handbook found on "current families" tab

Fall openings require registration fee and commitment to pay September-October tuition if registration is withdrawn.

After enrollment is confirmed, please print and fill out remaining forms on "current families" tab and bring with you on your child's first

Wait list

When our class is full, we will begin a first come basis waiting list for the school year. We do not make waiting lists further out than the current year.

Community Garden

Lotus Heart follows the Portland Public School calendar for holidays and breaks. These closures are already factored into the tuition schedule.

We are a school year program with additional summer camp offerings.

The 2026 school year will begin Tuesday, September 1st.

Community Garden

We belong to the Vermont Hills Community Garden where we maintain a garden plot and explore the garden grounds. We visit the garden weekly during the fall and spring growing seasons.

Spanish and American Sign Language are incorporated into our day through story and song and routine. We are not a bilingual school but rather provide an introduction for the understanding that there are many languages in our world and ways to communicate.

Yoga and creative movement are part of our daily rhythm.

Yoga Playgrounds teachers visits us twice monthly for formal classes as well as informal practice and music and movement during our circle times.

We play outside!

We play at Pendleton Park every day, rain or shine. Children come prepared with rain gear and dry changes of clothes for daily connection with nature and the elements.
